Clinical Services
Virtual outpatient psychotherapy for children, adolescents, young adults and their families in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Florida.
Therapy is a supportive space designed to meet you exactly where you are and guide you in creating a personalized plan for strengthening both your physical and emotional well-being. Beginning the process can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone—you’re in the right place to take the first step.
Diagnostic Assessment:
During our initial appointment, I will conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to gain a clear understanding of your current concerns, personal goals, and the areas you wish to explore or improve. This assessment helps guide the therapeutic process by identifying your unique needs and strengths. Based on our discussion, I will offer tailored recommendations and collaborate with you to develop a plan that supports your goals and promotes meaningful progress.
Individual Therapy:
Individual therapy with Hallie is a collaborative, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on in your life—emotionally, mentally, and relationally—without fear of judgment. Hallie takes a personalized, whole-person approach, tailoring each session to your unique needs, goals, and strengths.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, mood challenges, stress, life transitions, or health-related concerns, Hallie works with you to build insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Sessions may include evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, or mindfulness, and if you desire, faith-based integration is available.
You don’t have to have everything figured out—therapy is a space to be real, ask questions, and grow at your own pace. Hallie is here to meet you where you are and support you as you move toward a more grounded, functional, and fulfilling life.
Therapy Intensives:
Hallie offers extended therapy intensives for pediatric patients and their families following a new diagnosis such as Functional Neurologic Disorder (Conversion Disorder), Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures, chronic pain, EDS, POTS, somatic symptom disorder, and related conditions.
It’s common for families to feel unheard, confused, or even dismissed when a doctor recommends mental health support instead of a strictly medical treatment plan. You may have searched for a therapist who understands these complex mind–body conditions, only to be told there’s a long wait—or no one available at all. Hallie has walked alongside many families in this exact situation and is here to provide the guidance and support you need.
Therapy intensives include a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, tailored psychoeducation about your child’s condition, a clear action plan for managing and reducing symptoms, and thoughtful recommendations for ongoing treatment and care.
Unlike ongoing weekly therapy, intensives are a short-term, focused intervention designed to equip patients and families with practical information, resources, and support in a condensed and impactful format.
Workshops for Performing Artists and Athletes:
In addition to individual therapy, Hallie provides interactive workshops designed for dance studios, performance groups, and athletic teams. These workshops focus on empowering performers and athletes with tools to support their mental health, nutrition, and overall wellness.
Drawing from both Hallie’s experience as a licensed psychotherapist and a professional dancer, Hallie understands the unique pressures that come with training, competition, and performance. Workshops create a supportive, educational space where participants can learn strategies to:
Manage stress, anxiety, and performance pressure
Build a healthy relationship with food and body image
Prevent burnout and balance training with self-care
Develop resilience, confidence, and mental skills that strengthen performance
Managing injuries
The importance of working as a team
Public speaking, confidence, stage/performance presence, and more…
Workshops can be tailored to meet the needs of your group and are available for studios, teams, and organizations across the Twin Cities and virtually.
If your studio, company, or team is interested in supporting the whole-person wellness of your performers and athletes, we’d love to collaborate with you.

Areas of Practice:
-
Hallie believes your spiritual beliefs and practices are a meaningful part of who you are. As part of a whole-person approach to care, she offers the option to integrate your faith into the therapeutic process—at your pace and in the ways that feel most authentic to you. Whether that includes prayer, biblical principles, or faith based reflections, Hallie is here to support you as you draw strength from your faith in the moments you need it most.
-
Therapy for Functional Neurologic Disorder (Conversion Disorder):
Functional Neurologic Disorder (FND), also known as Conversion Disorder, is a condition where individuals experience real neurological symptoms—such as weakness, tremors, non-epileptic seizures, or difficulties with movement or speech—without a structural brain disease explaining them. These symptoms are very real, often distressing, and can significantly affect quality of life.
FND is best understood as a disorder of nervous system functioning rather than structure—where the brain has trouble sending and receiving signals properly. While the causes are complex and can involve psychological, neurological, and physical factors, the good news is that FND is treatable.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, Hallie specializes in the treatment of Functional Neurologic Disorder. Treatment may include psychoeducation about the brain-body connection, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mind-body techniques, and support for managing any related conditions like anxiety, trauma, or depression.
Our goal is to help you better understand your symptoms, reduce their impact, and restore a greater sense of control and function in your daily life. Recovery is possible—and we’re here to help you take the next step.
-
Therapy for Acute/Chronic Medical Conditions:
Managing an acute or chronic medical condition as a young person can be incredibly challenging—physically, emotionally, and socially. Conditions like diabetes, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, gastrointestinal issues, an injury, or unexplained medical symptoms can impact every area of life, from school and friendships to identity and independence. Many young people living with an acute or chronic illness also experience anxiety, depression, isolation, or grief about the life they expected versus the one they’re navigating now.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, Hallie provides specialized therapy for adolescents and young adults coping with health conditions. Hallie recognizes that healing isn’t just about the body—it’s about emotional resilience, self-advocacy, and learning how to live fully, even with ongoing symptoms. Hallie’s therapeutic approach includes evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mind-body techniques to support emotional well-being, pain management, and stress reduction.
Hallie helps clients build skills for coping with uncertainty, navigating the healthcare system, and improving communication with doctors, family, and peers. When appropriate, Hallie involves families in the process to strengthen understanding and support at home.
Acute and chronic illnesses can feel like it takes over your life—but therapy can help you take some of that life back. You are not your diagnosis, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Therapy and Treatment for Eating Disorders or Disordered Eating:
Eating disorders often emerge during some of the most formative and demanding years of life—adolescence and young adulthood. During this time, young people are navigating identity development, academic and social pressures, changing bodies, and increasing expectations for independence. Behaviors such as restricting, bingeing, purging, compulsive exercise, or persistent preoccupation with food, body, and weight are rarely just about eating. Instead, they often reflect deeper emotional struggles, including anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, difficulty regulating emotions, trauma, or a need for control during overwhelming transitions.
Hallie provides specialized treatment for a wide range of eating disorders and disordered eating concerns, including:
Anorexia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa
Binge Eating Disorder
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED)
Feeding or eating challenges related to anxiety, trauma, or medical concerns
At Ezer Psychotherapy, PLLC, Hallie works with teens, young adults, and families to address both the eating disorder behaviors and the underlying factors that sustain them. Treatment goes beyond symptom management to foster insight, resilience, and lasting change. Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate—meeting each client where they are while thoughtfully and gently challenging the eating disorder’s influence. Hallie provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and safe as they explore their relationship with food, body, and self.
When appropriate, Hallie collaborates closely with a client’s broader treatment team, including registered dietitians, medical providers, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Treatment at Ezer Psychotherapy is grounded in evidence-based approaches for eating disorders. Hallie integrates Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), Family-Based Therapy (FBT), and mindfulness-based and emotion regulation strategies to support nutritional rehabilitation, reduce eating disorder behaviors, build healthier coping skills, and help clients reconnect with their bodies in a more compassionate and balanced way.
Recovery from an eating disorder is not linear—it takes time, patience, consistent support, and the right tools. With compassionate care and evidence-based treatment, healing is possible. At Ezer Psychotherapy, we are committed to walking alongside teens, young adults, and families as they move toward a healthier, more functional, and more fulfilling life—inside and out.
-
Therapy for Anxiety:
Anxiety is a natural response to stress—but when it becomes overwhelming, persistent, or interferes with daily life, it may be part of an anxiety disorder. These disorders can show up in different ways, including constant worry, panic attacks, social fears, or specific phobias. While anxiety can feel isolating or even paralyzing, it is also highly treatable.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, we specialize in evidence-based treatments that help individuals manage and reduce anxiety. Through approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies, we work collaboratively with clients to understand the roots of their anxiety, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build practical coping skills.
Whether you’re experiencing generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, or a specific phobia, therapy offers a safe and supportive space to regain control and confidence in your life. You don’t have to live at the mercy of anxiety—help is available, and healing is possible.
-
Therapy for Depression:
Depression can deeply affect how young people think, feel, and function in daily life. For adolescents and young adults, these challenges often show up as intense sadness, irritability, low energy, changes in sleep or appetite, difficulty concentrating, or emotional ups and downs that feel hard to control or understand.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, Hallie provides therapy for depression. Hallie specializes in helping young people navigate the emotional storms of mood disorders with care, compassion, and clinically proven support. Hallie works with each client to create a personalized treatment plan using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Hallie helps teens and young adults develop emotional regulation skills, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and identity.
Hallie also recognizes that mood disorders don’t just affect the individual—they impact families too. When appropriate, Hallie includes caregivers in the process to strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and build a more supportive home environment.
Mood disorders are real, and they are treatable. With the right support, young people can learn to manage their symptoms, build meaningful lives, and feel more like themselves again. We're here to help make that possible.
-
Therapy for ADD or ADHD:
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) affects more than just attention—it impacts motivation, emotional regulation, time management, organization, and self-esteem. For adolescents and young adults, these challenges can interfere with school, relationships, work, and everyday life, often leaving them feeling misunderstood, frustrated, or overwhelmed.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, Hallie provides therapy for ADHD. Hallie helps young people with ADHD better understand their unique brains and develop the tools they need to thrive. Hallie’s approach goes beyond managing symptoms—Hallie focuses on building executive functioning skills, strengthening self-awareness, and promoting emotional regulation. Using evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), skills training, and mindfulness-based strategies, we work collaboratively to turn insight into action.
Therapy also provides a space to address common co-occurring issues like anxiety, low self-esteem, or academic and social stress/issues.
ADHD doesn’t define who you are—but learning how to work with it, not against it, can change everything. With the right support, young people can learn to manage challenges, leverage their strengths, and build a more functional, empowered life.
-
Therapy for Trauma:
Trauma can affect every part of life—how you think, feel, relate to others, and see yourself. Whether it's the result of a single overwhelming event or long-term experiences like abuse, neglect, medical trauma, or loss, the impact of trauma can linger long after the danger has passed.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, Hallie provides specialized trauma-informed care for adolescents and young adults. Hallie’s approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based methods like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), other trauma-focused interventions, and mind-body techniques. Therapy helps clients process what happened in a safe and supportive space, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with a sense of safety, trust, and self-worth.
Healing from trauma is possible—not by forgetting the past, but by reclaiming your voice, your strength, and your future.
-
Therapy for Performing Artists & Athletes:
As both a licensed psychotherapist and a professional dancer in the Twin Cities, Hallie brings a unique perspective to working with dancers, performing artists, and athletes. Hallie understands the discipline, passion, and vulnerability it takes to perform, as well as the challenges that can come with it—perfectionism, pressure to succeed, injury, body image concerns, and balancing mental health with training and performance demands.
At Ezer Psychotherapy, Hallie specializes in helping young people who are navigating things like:
Performance anxiety or stage fright
Self-esteem and perfectionism
Eating disorders and body image struggles
Burnout and stress management
Coping with injury or acute/chronic illness
Trauma, anxiety, or depression
Hallie’s goal is to create a safe, supportive space where performers and athletes can process challenges, build resilience, and strengthen both their mental health and their ability to thrive in their art or sport.
In addition to individual therapy, Hallie also offers workshops for studios, teams, and organizations to promote mental wellness, prevent burnout, and encourage healthy coping strategies. These workshops can be customized to meet the needs of your dancers, athletes, or performers.

Therapy for Young Adults/College Students:
Do you ever feel like everyone told you to “grow up,” but no one actually prepared you for the chaos, pressure, and constant decision-making that comes with being a young adult? Between navigating high-stress academic or career expectations, questioning your future direction, managing finances, building (and ending) relationships, and figuring out who you are apart from family—“adulting” can feel overwhelming.
Many young adults and college students find themselves wrestling with anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, perfectionism, loneliness, or complicated family dynamics during this stage of life. These challenges aren’t signs that you’re failing—they’re signs that you’re human, and that you’re carrying a lot.
Hallie specializes in supporting young adults and college students through this intense and transformative season of life. She understands the unique pressures that come with transitioning into adulthood: the identity shifts, the academic and career stress, the desire for independence mixed with the fear of getting it wrong, and the emotional toll of doing so much on your own for the first time. Her approach is grounded, practical, and deeply supportive—helping you slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and build the skills and confidence you need to move forward.
If any of this sounds like your story, take a breath—you’re in the right place. Hallie is here to walk alongside you, offering a space where you can sort through the stress, explore who you’re becoming, and learn how to navigate adulthood with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

When a child or teen begins therapy, it’s not just their journey—it's a family one. Hallie believes that parents and caregivers play a vital role in the healing process, and she partners with you to provide guidance, insight, and support along the way.
Through regular check-ins, parent consultations, and collaborative goal-setting, Hallie helps you better understand your child’s emotional needs and behaviors, strengthen communication at home, and develop effective tools to support your child outside of therapy. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, behavioral challenges, mood shifts, or health-related concerns, Hallie offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space for you as well.
You don’t have to do this alone. Hallie is here to support both your child and you—every step of the way.
